Review: The Green Book

Too simple, too light

The Green Book goes through various aspects of our daily lives and gives us small alternatives to what we are currently doing. In between each chapter there is a vignette by a celebrity on how they do small green things in their lives.

This is a good book if you have never looked into going green before or if you are trying to help someone change their habits. However most of the things listed are just not enough. It is a example of too little that will make everything too late. The celebrity talking points are worthless and should have been left out altogether. Changing our habits slightly will help but we have to change our behavior and our perspectives if we plan on really doing something about climate change.

Not terrible, but not great. A good first step that needs to be followed up.
