This is my 100th post and I’m happy that I’m
still here and I still have things to say. When I started this blog I was
trying to get things of my chest and see if anyone out there would care. Though
there is a lack of comments there are plenty of visitors everyday. I still have
a head full of ideas and adventures and I’m going to try to maintain the same
flow of about one entry per day. Thank you to those that come by every day or
often to see what I’m up to.
Another thing to celebrate this week is the election
results. I voted for Jill Stein. I felt that she would have done a great job
fixing us up and bring us together. Dr. Stein didn’t win. However Barak Obama
was reelected and mentioned global warming in his acceptance speech. He may not
be perfect but hopefully with the election over the hyper-partisan politics
will go away and we can start working together to make things better (I think I’m
actually happier the election is over more than anything). This is also a good
time for republicans to dust off their platform and make a new one that
reflects the current culture better.
If your candidate didn’t win don’t frown on those who are
celebrating. And if politics aren’t going the way you want, like in the case of
climate change, keep striving yourself to change things. There are some new
people in office; write them a letter and tell them to get to work.
And as far as new laws go how about this: with the elections
over all of the remaining super pac money should be donated to hurricane Sandy
relief.
