One way to fight climate change is with your vote. In the
off years from elections you can fight with letter writing to your local
representatives. You can find them here; just enter your zip
code. Keep your letters clean, intelligent, and concise.
Another thing you can do is petitioning the white house
digitally with the We The People
site. It only takes a moment to register. And it is fairly easy to create
your own petition. You need 150 signatures for your petition to be viewed by
the public so make sure you get some friends and family in on it as you start.
In order to get a response from the White House you have to get 100,000
signatures in 30 days so share and try to get as many people on board as
possible.
Here is one from a member, Phil, of the AltEnergyShift forum.
It’s a well thought out petition that could put us in the
right direction. It only takes a moment to register and then just a click to
get into the action. Why wait? The clock is ticking.
