Most people know what ostriches are, big birds. But what is
a climate change Ostrich? Climate Change Ostriches are otherwise intelligent
people who "put their heads in the sand" about all things climate
change. It could be that acknowledging climate change is real is counter to
another belief they hold or they may just not want to think about what Climate
Change really means.
Keep in mind that people who may be Ostriches aren't stupid.
Some can be very intelligent, as is the case with sci-fi writer Larry Niven.
You can keep engaging Ostriches in debate, just don't insult them. Insulting
and belittling others will never bring them around to your way of seeing
things, or in this case seeing the facts with clear eyes.
