Quick Tip #14: Cook


A quick tip that can improve your health and help the planet, is cook. If you cook things yourself you’ll be less likely to add all those strange chemicals that come in processed and fast food. By cooking I mean actually taking ingredients and making something with them, not just popping some premade thing in the microwave. You can find some fresh produce at your local farmer’s market, a lot of which have meat as well. You’ll be more in touch with your food, with your health, and with the planet. Get the family involved to spend time doing something other than sitting in front of the television or Internet.
